It worked, keeping those who remained on the topside alive, but it also altered and mutated them. This new and infectious threat had completely outnumbered us. Now, we not only had to rebuild our planet. We would have to fight for it.

~~~My Review~~~
What a great story. The characters were so true to life for me. I could see all the actions played out, as if they were living right along side of me. I really got into the story when I learned about the change Abi saw in Finn. Typical teenage thinking, but in way less than ordinary circumstances. The fact that all the girls were not prissy girls was great and added more depth, while all the guys were not jock type guys. All the characters had such great interaction and kept me pulled into their story the whole book through. Loved the background and how it came about with the beginning setting being the hive, and it's pretty awesome how long they were able to survive down there and how much they had. It was also a pretty interesting take on the Arvies, unique name, and get type of creature for them to battle. Thank you for the opportunity to be able to read your book.
